Nature of Work Incumbents in this position are responsible for inspecting city right-of-ways for hazards to vehicular traffic and pedestrians and excavation/construction projects for compliance with City ordinances and specifications For an additional description of this position, please refer to the Minimum Qualifications Two years of utility and street construction experience; OR successful completion of a recognized two-year training program in construction technology. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Traffic Inspector proxy server that provides caching and blocks unwanted resources, a secure firewall to protect against network attacks, a system for the. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present license at the time of the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class, and expiration date on the Employment Application. At the time of the Oral Interview, applicants who do not possess a Missouri driver's license will be required to present a ' Driving Record Check' from their State's Department of Motor Vehicles. Documentation of qualifying educational achievement must be submitted with the Employment Application or at the time of the Oral Interview. A limited number of applicants may be scheduled for the Oral Interview based on an evaluation of their qualifying education, training and experience as listed on the Employment Application. Include reasons for changes in employers and explain any gaps in employment on the application. Incomplete and/or carelessly completed applications will not be considered.
